Over her 25 years in the Patent and Trademark profession, Joeeta has provided valuable strategic IP advice to clients to extract maximum value and monetise their IP. In contentious matters, Joeeta has successfully led multiple Oppositions and Appeals before the European Patent Office and provided support in UK, pan-European and US litigation matters.
Specialising in Life Sciences patent matters, Joeeta handles a varied range of subject-matter from biologicals, peptides, antibodies, ADCs, stem cells, genetic engineering, nucleic acid synthesis and amplifications, gene libraries, regenerative medicines, RNAi technology, immunotherapy, plant products and formulations, diagnostics, implants and medical devises.

Joeeta was a former member of the IP Advisory Committee at the BioIndustry Association. In early 2022, Joeeta was elected Council Member by members of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) to be on the CIPA Council which is the governing body of CIPA and is responsible for the strategic direction of the institute.
Prior to joining the patent profession, Joeeta has several years of research experience in Alzheimer’s disease, Diabetes, Vaccines and analytical chemistry method development, thus appreciates the technical hurdles in scientific innovation
