Biography
Ben has experience working on a wide variety of subject areas in the applied chemistry, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology fields. Ben has particular experience working on inventions involving nanochemistry, polymer chemistry, electrochemistry and semi-conducting material technology, cleantech, ink and pigment technologies, laundry technology, cancer therapeutics, small molecules, and drug delivery.
Ben has advised a range of domestic and international clients from universities, university spin-outs, and small start-ups to large consumer goods conglomerates. Ben has experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, as well as opposition and appeal proceedings before the EPO.
Ben aims to tailor the advice he gives to fit with the strategic and commercial goals of the client.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys cycling, running, playing squash, bouldering, volunteering, and travelling.
