Patent Administrator

Avidity IP is looking for a new Patent Administrator.

Overall Purpose:

Delivering a professional, responsive, high quality service to our clients ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures laid out by the Firm and by regulatory bodies. To act as an ambassador for the Firm at all times, actively promoting its services.

Key accountabilities:

  • Email management and processing incoming correspondence
  • Preparing attorney due date reports, diary management
  • Inputting cases and making updates to the Progressor database system
  • Preparing UK, EP & PCT applications for filing, together with post filing formalities
  • Preparing standard reporting letters to clients
  • Recording service charges
  • Sending reminders for due dates
  • Processing post
  • Preparing cost estimates
  • Filing and document management
  • Obtaining information from IP related databases

Skills: (Essential)

  • Minimum of 1 years experience
  • Working knowledge of EPOLF/OLF2
  • Good IT skills
  • Experience of Progressor desirable but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • CIPA qualification (desirable but not essential)
